Obituary for Ashley Ann Durant
Ashley Ann Durant, 48, passed away on July 12, 2022. She was born in Livermore, California and passed away in Broomfield, Colorado. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia Mailloux; her mother, Susan Durant; her father, Edward Durant; her brother, Michael Durant (Erin); her step brother, Nicholas Durant; nephews Hunter Williams Durant and Garrett Durant; several cousins including Chad Playford (Jessica), Carly Feth (Darin), Stephen Davis (Marcie), and Arthur Davis; aunts Kathleen Latendresse (the late Paul Latendresse) and Sandra Davis (Arthur); and second cousins Lucas Miller, Henley Playford, Harper Playford, Pierce Feth, London Feth, Samantha Dubuque, Shelby Dubuque, and Chelsea Peters.
Ashley graduated from South Colonie High School in Albany, New York where she ran track and played soccer. She attended Clemson University where she ran track, and she graduated from Westwood College of Technology in Colorado.
Ashley was an avid athlete, which continued after graduating from college. She would always find time to play soccer and snowboard whenever she could.
Ashley loved her chosen career as a Product Owner at ViaSat and was highly regarded by her co-workers. In an email to Ashley’s family, her superior referred to her as “the engine that ran their team.”
Ashley’s spirit and her love for life endeared her to her family and her many friends.
Ashley was a dog lover and had many special dogs over the years that she loved and were a big part of her life. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by her family and her tribe of friends that adored her including Brandon Hull, Courtenay Bedell, Meredith Dobson, Jansen Hendersen, Matt Hendersen, and Frank Lanza.
Rest in peace, beautiful girl. We will remember you always and we have so many beautiful memories that will be in our hearts forever.
A memorial service and a celebration of her life will be held on September 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Upslope Brewing Company, located at 1898 S. Flatiron Ct. Boulder, Colorado.
