Obituary for Patricia Lynn "Patty" Josephs
Patricia Josephs 1957 - 2022
Patricia Josephs died peacefully at home on March 31, 2022, surrounded by love, and loved ones. Patty was a wonderful mother to her sons Seth and Nathan, and a wonderful companion for her husband Hugh. Despite numerous health challenges, Patty did a lot, and she was good at everything she did. She was a teacher, an artist, a gardener, a traveler who lived in Argentina and Spain, a lover of books, and a true friend to all who knew her. As her health issues mounted, she continued to fight back, providing inspiration to her many friends. After a stroke impacted her right hand, she relearned how to paint beautiful watercolors with her left hand. She was always ready with a laugh that was enough to keep all of us going. Patty leaves behind her husband Hugh, her sons Seth and Nathan, her daughter-in-law Lindsay, Her mother Molly, her sister Cyndi, her brother Dave, and her stepmother Elaine. She was preceded in death by her father Lon.
Her service will be graveside On Monday April 4, at 2:00 pm at Green Mountain cemetery in Boulder. Donations can be made in her name to The League of Women Voters.
